ADI Part 3
ADI Part 3 is designed to assess the quality of your driving instruction. It is comprised of two practical tests each lasting around 30 minutes and you will need to pass both parts on the same test in order to qualify as a driving instructor.
Both parts of the examination involve you demonstrating practical driving instruction to an examiner who will role play as a student. For the first part of the test the examiner will take on the role of a student who is a beginner with limited driving skills and for the second part a student of about test standard.
Prepares you to deal professionally with learner drivers of all abilities. You’ll learn how to correct pupil errors positively, build and develop rapport with students and make simple adaptations to your vehicle. The assessment involves two 30 minute practical exams in which an examiner will play the role of a pupil.
